Hi all.

I've been quiet for a while working away on sculpts but have now moved on to making attachments as part of clothing projects - short attention span.

Trouble getting 2.5 working

I'm not really very computer sophisticated but I do use Blender a lot. I've been trying to get a 2.5 Blender to try it out. I've DL'ed the one from Blender Foundation and this one, 2.5 Trunk, from GraphAll.org. I keep getting this same error message and Blender shuts down. Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error! Program: C:\:Program Files\2.5 Trunk\blender.exe This application has requested Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the aplication's support team for more information.

Blender/Jass Newbie

Puzzled I'm new to modeling/Blender and first I'd like to say how much i appreciate all the work everyone did to create the bais newcomer Blender tutorials and making Jass and primstar available-its great. I was attempting to create a tophat w bow as in the Tutorial here- http://blog.machinimatrix.org/3d-creation/video-tutorials/. When i got to the end and tried to select all 3 prims and make the parent i wasnt able to select all 3 prims-one would deselect leaving only 2 selected.

evenly space verts

Does anyone know a way to evenly space verts along and edgeloop? Or for that matter, evenly space several edgeloops between two specified edgeloops?

How do you make a square sculpty mesh??

Hi, I am new to Blender, downloaded it all fine, got the scripts to make sculpty meshs (Primstar and the extra ones) all works great, but... how on earth do I make a square prim? I have only 5 options, a flat square being one but I cant make it a cube... the other 4 options are a circle, a doenut sort of shape, and... oh an empty can! and a half circle... no square cubes in thie 5 options.

How can I do this please?

Thanks

Bounding Box manipulation

Hi all.

I have a query relating to manipulation of vertices using local axis reference when the object has been rotated off the global axes which appears to me to be affected by whether the rotation has been done in object or edit mode.

hello, i am interested in joining a class that teaches blender in-world from the basics to expert modeling and texture baking.. do you offer this option to residents with no previous experience in working in blender?

thanks

Blender sculptie node setup

Here's a node setup for baking sculpties manually. You'll need to apply any subsurf and multires and then edit the uv map and move the top row and right hand side in by 1 pixel for an accurate bake.

This was re-edited by me (Manny): [First things first... This' Domino's projects home; Primstar, Avatar, GIMP Terrain, it's not meant to be flooded with Blender video-tutorials, I believe.  But...]  Tutorials/video-tutorials are encouraged! Big smile

.blend file compression

In Blender's File menu there is an option "Compress File". If you enable it before saving, then the file size of the .blend file is much reduced. It's a good idea to do this if you want to attach a .blend to a post here or email it to someone.
