First visit to orthopaedic surgeon

Well, I had a little visit to the hospital today for my initial checkup with the orthopaedic surgeon.

They took some blood samples and asked a few questions and that was about it.

They are making appointments for me at two more hospitals, one for hand therapy which apparently involves playing computer games.. Well perhaps not games, but some computer driven therapy which involves doing something so the computer can measure differences between my left and right hands.

The second is so they can electrocute me. It's to test the conductivity of my nerves and look for the problem that way.

So the good news is that things are moving forward, the bad news is that they said it'll take 6 to 8 weeks for my appointments to come through!

Of course the really good news is that I've sneakily been working on redesigning the website. Most of the functionality is there now and this is officially the first blog post on it, though by the time the site goes live, it won't seem that way. I've got to import all the content from the old site yet and some backdated blog entries will appear later Wink
