Distorted sculpty spheres

Sculpty spheres are coming out crumpled in the current versions of Primstar and Blender on my computer. I've attached two Blender files - an airship hull I designed on the older Primstar version (the one with this Sculpt Mesh Options display), and a close duplicate I designed from scratch on the current setup.

Not sure if this could be a factor, but the computer was running XP Service Pack 2 when I created the original sculpty, and now I've upgraded to SP3.

I went ahead and tried reinstalling Blender and Primstar. No change.

Hello there, checked the .blends. What I've seen is that "airship-hull-2" model has 2 levels of Multires (Simple Subdiv.) and a Subsurf Modifier level 1 (Catmull-Clark), <--- that's probably causing it.

Try deleting  the Subsurf Modifier  on "airship-hull-2" model and setting DimX: 6.000; DimY: 2.000; DimZ:2.000 (just like the Dims., of airship-hull-1.blend) the result should be the shape you look for.

Aha!

That does the trick. Not sure how subsurf got turned on.
