New to scuplting new object won't appear

I was making a scupltie object in blender and able to add new meshes to the scene as i progressed but suddenly i can no longer add meshes either that or i can't see the new ones being created does anyone know what i did wrong. to be more specific it seems to accept the fact i'm adding a mesh but it won't appear in the 3d window for me to edit it
