PLEASE can we have a procedure and folder path for installoing Primstar on Mac!
I've been referred here by 'Murgy', on the Blender site, who responds to my request for an accurate file-path to where I can install your Primstar scripts so that Blender can Import them, by saying: 'Unfortunately, I don’t really know the answer to this one. I’ve heard that Mac users often have trouble with installation. Your best bet is probably to go to the forums on Domino’s site and ask for help there. The people who frequent the forums there are a lot more knowledgeable about this sort of problem than I am.'
I don't see why this is turning out to be such a problem. The file-path for installation that he gives is: blender.app/Contents/MacOS/.blender/scripts/
which seems wrong, since the third term, /blender.app, is the application itself: launching the application doesn't provide any access to a location called /Contents that I can see.
What I've done, faut de mieux, is to install following this path:
Mac: /Applications/blender/Contents/MacOS/.blender/Scripts/Primstar folder,
creating the folders as necessary. But, alas, Blender can't see it when I go to Blender Fil/Import.
So, please: could some kind soul just provide a file-path to a location on my hard disc where I can place the Primstar folder I downloaded, in such a way that the Blender File/Import command can see it?
I'm no expert, so perhaps I don't see the difficulties involved in specifying the right file-path... well, forgive me, but _why_ is this all so difficult?! Please help!
