The wineglass problem

Hi,

I posted a comment on the machinimatrix blog about the wineglass problem. I could not include the picture I made.

I am used to make the textures for my sculpts by hand in Photoshop. When I do so I check all steps I make in Blender. Till now my experiences is a perfect match of the texture in Blender, will give the same perfect match of the texture in SL.

But this does not seem to work when the sculpty is made with outlines in Jazz.

These are the results:

WIneglass in Jazz and SL

Perfect match in Blender, mismatch in SL.

I had the problem before with a champagne glass. First I tought I might have accidently changed something to my scultpy map, and that was the reason the texture did not fit. So I textured the champagne glass again, not using Blender as fitting tool, but fitting directly in SL.

Champagne glassThen it is possible to get a perfect fitting textures.

So it seems to me this wineglass problem has to with the way Jazz calculates the texture on the sculpt is not corresponding with the way SL calculates the texture on the sculpt.
