Problem with multisculptie baking/exporting

I've been following what I've found at http://www.dominodesigns.info/node/233, but I'm having a problem.  I've made sure to individually bake each component, then parent them together, but not all of the objects export for some reason.

The top image is what I'm trying to bake/export, and the bottom one is what the script actually creates in world.

Duplicate needs new map

Looks like you duplicated objects in Blender, you need to assign new sculpt maps to them when you do that and they are intended to be different sculpties. Multiple sized objects from the same map is a supported feature and that's what you appear to have here. I see two bottoms of the gun and quite a few triggers.

Here is an answer for the problem:

I have a question for myself. How to link an image on multiprims?

thanks

Ah. How do I assign new sculpt maps to the objects?

I tried renaming the UV textures of all the objects other than the root prim, but now it'll only export the parent object.

In the 3D view select zour

  1. In the 3D view select your object and go to edit mode
  2. in the UV image editor > Image -> new .

Take care about the image size! for 32*32 suclpties image size has to be 64*64 (the rule is: image size = 2*facecount in both dimensions. In the case you have already some free images in your image stack, just select one while the object is in edit mode. Renaming does not work, as it just renames the image, but does not assign another image!

Hey, thanks. This seems to

Hey, thanks. Everything works *amazingly*.

I can't believe I spent all that time before manually fitting together sculpted prims in game when I could have just done this.

Well, but it's very

Well, but it's very unconfortable with let's say few hundreds of sculpties. :\
