Black Triangles

Hey Mr. Domino,

I bugged you a while ago because I was at my wit's end where the new script was broken and such. The older one I downloaded works fine, but now i'm ripping my hair out again. For some reason it's baking everything with a bunch of black triangles along the upper and lower edges of my bake textures. It bakes the sculpty meshes just fine, but when I go to bake the render texture to them, it throws a bunch of useless black triangles in there.

I'm a photoshop master, so I could go through and airbrush these out, but I dont want to spend several hours fixing baked textures that used to bake fine without a hitch. Any suggestions here? Because my ability to make sculpties is dead in the water now. Or is there a specific version I should be using? I just used the one you suggested, but i'm getting so frustrated that i'm running out of room to hide the bodies Tongue

Sphere shape?

Black triangles on texture bakes are usually caused by the poles on the sphere shape. It happens because the quad faces are made into triangles there and one half of them receives no light from the bake. If you select the poles before baking the texture and press w - Smooth, it'll open the poles up a little and let light hit those faces. Hit ctrl z to undo the smooth after baking.

Thanks! worked like a charm
