Oh, now that was my bad, haha. Here's a map with maximized verts from Maya. The colors are different (due to Maya's XZY setup), but the pattern I think is about the same now. Look after your wrists first and foremost :)

I can't use the difference comparison to quickly check things out, the
maya one doesn't have a maximised range.
My hands hurting too much to look at it seriously tonight. I'll get back
to you on it.
